Benefit from mentoring

Valuable insider knowledge for students

Already during your studies, one of our Henkel managers will be your personal mentor – to guide and support you with your tasks, to coach you and to provide useful tips. Henkel mentors share their knowledge about market trends and will give you feedback for your future career. Last but not least, your mentor will always be a valuable advisor and personal contact.

Student Internships

Fully integrated, highly networked: During an internship, you experience first-hand what it is that distinguishes Henkel employees and makes them successful. You will be integrated into the team from your very first day, and will be able to find out what it means to work for an international market leader and to define tomorrow’s market – whether consumer goods or industry. Make use of this opportunity and convince us of your talents and initiative – just like 1,500 other interns worldwide each year.

Every internship starts with a definition of individual targets and objectives. After that, you can get started immediately and give free rein to your ambitions. From the first day onwards, you will be fully integrated and pass a customized program. Meanwhile you can rely on continuous support by members of the HR department and your mentor, who will be an experienced member of your department.

Tasks and opportunities

Copying and making coffee? Please do not! During your student internship, you will work on our daily business and projects as a fully-fledged member of the team. In addition, there will be plenty of chances to catch a glimpse of life beyond your department.

  • Besides supporting the operative business, you take charge of your own project that gives you the chance to show your talent.
  • You also participate in presentations by different departments, for example during the “Intern Day”
  • You will have numerous opportunities to build up and develop your personal network.

General conditions: flexible and international

Internships are flexible, international and not tied to semester schedules. Ideally, applications should be submitted 4 to 6 months in advance. All vacancies and current positions can be found in our job portal.

General conditions: flexible and international

Each year, around 500 interns from all over the world gain a first Henkel experience at our headquarters in Düsseldorf, Germany. Since our employees in Düsseldorf come from over 50 different countries, our intern community is also very international – many of our internships can be completed without any German language skills.

Cooperations

Henkel cooperates with renowned universities and student initiatives. A win-win situation: Already at an early stage, students receive professional experience – for example through case studies or lectures given by top managers. At the same time, Henkel gets into contact with the best talents.
