The purpose of the role is to lead the Strategy office of the Head of ACB IMEA (India, Middle East & Africa). The incumbent will lead a multi-location team to drive strategic projects and initiatives to drive profitable growth for Adhesive Technologies Construction business in IMEA, with a specific focus on Henkel Polybit in UAE, KSA and export markets.

YOUR ROLE

  • Drive the strategic agenda for Adhesive Technologies Construction SBU (ACB) in IMEA across various focus areas: Market Strategy & Org. Excellence, Product & Technology Management, Strategic Pricing, Market & Customer Activation, Sales & Channel Excellence
  • Contributes to and leads execution of business / organization restructuring projects
  • Proposes and leads execution of projects related to Route-To-Market, Sales Force Effectiveness and Export Market Prioritization
  • Responsible for developing Market Entry/ Expansion strategies for selected markets
  • Coordinates M&A activities, and initiates, proposes and analyses potential acquisition targets
  • Analyses & proposes improvements to Operations (incl. Purchasing/ Supply Chain/ Manufacturing Footprint)
  • Responsible for analyzing financial results and liaising with the teams in the markets

YOUR SKILLS

  • Business, science or engineering degree from top-tier university; MBA a plus
  • 7 - 10 years of industry related work experience; ideally some time spent in leading consultancies
  • 3+ years with people management experience
  • Ideally, experience in sales, marketing, or commercial excellence
  • Strong digital affinity
  • Proven track record in implementing transformative projects in complex multi-stakeholder
    environments
  • Strong ability to drive topics from strategic concept through project phase to implementation and continuous improvement mode
  • Ability to comfortably interact with all levels in the organization and work across multiple cultures effectively
  • Highly motivated team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
