YOUR ROLE

• Develops and drives the Global Safety Strategy, Global Programs, Standards and Trainings together with the Regional and Local teams
• Anticipates current trends in the area of S&H and adapting the Strategy, Programs, Standards and Procedures on a regular basis
• Standardizes the Safety Standards and Processes for the newly formed Business Unit of Henkel Consumer Brands
• Supports the Regions and Locations in the deployment of the Strategy, Programs and Standards
• Builds Capabilities in Safety & Health in the whole organization
• Builds a strong Safety & Health Culture and mindset in the organization, leading by example and be inspiring for the organization
• Continuously develops her team (direct & indirect reports)
• High level of independence, ownership and accountability
• Takes ownership of major incident investigations and derives and follows-up on the proper reactive and preventive action plans
• Owns the best practice sharing in her area
• Experience in Integrated Management Systems, ISO systems (especially ISO 45.001)
• Develops reporting tools and owns Safety & Health KPIs, based on strong dynamic Digital environment available within Henkel
• Monitors and drives S&H performance globally
• Strong Stakeholder Management
• Leading cross-functional and cross departmental international teams
• Being part of large international projects covering all S&H aspects
• Pushing S&H related major investment projects from Design to approval and supporting implementation
• Strong strategic, people centered mindset with good communication on all levels (Top Management, Peers, Shop floor) and operational experience
• Ensures global compliance in the area of S&H with proper programs and audits

YOUR SKILLS

• Master degree in Chemistry, Safety or Production processes
• At least 8 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong level of the strategic skills: judgement, impact and agility
• Ensure accountability, manage complexity, effective communication and strategic mindset
• Open-minded team player with solution mindset and ability to cope with complexity & uncertainty
• Sees the big picture and creates strategies to sustain our competitive advantage
• Formulates a clear strategy and maps the steps that will clearly accelerate the organization toward its strategic goals
• Fluent in English.
