YOUR ROLE
Drives Regional business unit awareness of short and long-term market trends regarding material availability, cost developments, innovation, as well as impact on the competitive landscape for the total regional spend portfolio.
Understands and translates the strategic business unit roadmaps with leading sourcing solutions; Challenges and contributes to the development of world class regional and global sourcing strategies; Exhibits urgency and aggressiveness in driving Purchasing leadership; Desire and passion to go ‘above and beyond’.
Drives initiatives supporting business unit’s L12 ambitions (incl. savings); Ensures regional purchasing data integrity and delivery in all categories.
Leads Regional Sourcing Category Members - ensure best-in-class execution of sourcing responsibilities and secures operational excellence in close cooperation with RSO, SC, supply-base (crisis management coordination, structural change agenda, cross-functional leadership).
Drives balanced, holistic, and proactive risk management for the business unit, leveraging the risk management toolbox.
Leads purchasing resources to deliver to business unit needs, ensuring a fully capable/committed supply base is in place to deliver sustainable value that cooperates according to all requirements and market dynamics (volumes, geographies, cost competitiveness, operational excellence, sprint requests, sustainability, innovation, and growth facilitation).
Supports the Global KAM to proactively and permanently challenge the status-quo. Identifying, conceptualizing and selling game changing strategies.
Contributes to best-in-class cooperation with regional R&D / SC / Marketing / Sales / Suppliers.
Drives best-in-class integration of acquired businesses in the region, as well as, supporting divestments.
Leads talent attraction, development and retention across the region
YOUR SKILLS
10+ years prof. experience in different roles, preferably incl. strategic sourcing.
Top level leadership capabilities; Sound understanding of business and e2e supply chains.
Strong communication and facilitation skills / stakeholder management.
Passionate and strong people leader; excellent management skills
The salary range for this role is $220,000 to $250,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Connecticut. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
