About this position


What you´ll do

  • Responsibility to develop and steer pricing excellence and governance to capture optimal share of value.
  • Drive pricing performance, manage pricing processes and ensure pricing governance within your region, in close collaboration with other functions such as local sales, marketing and finance.
  • Pro-actively develop and support regional product price guidance incl. raw material pass-through (cost based) and value selling.
  • Drive value-based pricing mindset within the SBU (Sub-Business Unit) and realization of pricing targets.
  • Support to build-up of competitive intelligence on pricing.
  • Deploy and implement pricing tools, processes and ensure broad adoption.
  • Own and steer transformational initiatives on pricing, in collaboration with the central pricing team.
  • Engage in pricing opportunity management and negotiation support for big impact customers.
  • Run ad-hoc as well as recurring pricing analytics and reports.
  • Develop internal and external communication.
  • Manage and train the organization on pricing related changes.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or Engineering, Chemistry.
  • Experienced in a multinational environment with 5+ years of relevant business experience in the fields of pricing, sales excellence or marketing.
  • Strong stakeholder management as well as excellent communication and presentation skills including the ability to convince on different management level up to senior management.
  • Strong analytical skills for fact and data base decision making to realize measurable results.
  • Well-developed change management skills as well as project execution.
  • Knowledge of pricing software (e.g. PROS, Vedado or similar), SAP and in B2B price analysis methodologies.
  • Experience in working in a large, matrixed organization with international focus.
  • Experience in the Chemical Industry or B2B is useful.
