YOUR ROLE
- As a Payroll Specialist in our GBS+, you will be primarily responsible for processing Slovenian payroll and maintaining the employee database regarding salary and pay – salary changes, deductions, bonuses and others. You will bring your expertise and:
- Ensure all aspects of the payroll cycle, including tax, benefits, garnishments, etc. are processed, checked and transmitted accurately and timely
- Extract and process pre- and post-payroll reports (GL posting, variance analysis and HR reporting)
- Address and resolve employee queries related to the payroll system
- Cooperate closely with payroll vendors and Finance department regarding salary calculations and payments
- Ensure the completeness of the workflow documents and manuals
- Work closely with HR teams for process implementation and alignment
YOUR SKILLS
- We will provide you with the onboarding and respective trainings. However, as you will support Henkel end-to-end payroll process from executing payroll system, we require:
- Education in Human Resources/Accounting/Business Administration is an advantage
- Previous experience with HR processes is a must (minimum 1 year)
- Previous payroll experience is an advantage
- Strong communication skills and customer orientation
- Full working proficiency in English language
- Payroll software knowledge (preferably SAP)
- Excel on upper-intermediate level (lookup functions, pivot tables)
- Strong ownership and drive, passion for self-development
- Good ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
