YOUR ROLE

  • Responsible for weekly supply planning of Traded Goods (Finished Goods imported from other continents to IMEA),
  • Ensures that the TG portfolio is supplied in the most cost-effective way, kept at target service and inventory levels,
  • Checks order confirmations and follows up on open orders, monitors punctuality and delivered volumes; if any preponement is needed, works in close cooperation with Cross-Regional SC teams to take prompt action to avoid delays,
  • Handles unforeseen changes in supply and demand, problem solves to ensure a timely delivery of goods, escalates critical availability issues to the IMEA TG Planning Manager,
  • Maintains TG material master data and planning parameters (SAP,APO SNP); defines safety stock norms, reduces slow- and non-moving products in IMEA.
  • Ensure the KPIs are aligned with the targets (Write-off, Slow Mover, DOS, Customer Service Level)
  • Leads a team of 5 Supply Planners, supports and develops them.
  • Assist planning team in critical planning matters and activities, provides guidance to team for effective KPI management. Regular touchpoints with planners to ensure actions are in place to improve KPI results.
  • Acts as a team leader to assist team members' in regular planning activities to deliver the results.
  • Encourges team to make sure necessary actions are taken by planners when there is a critical shortage or escalation.

YOUR SKILLS

  • University degree in Industrial Engineering or related departments
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in supply planning, ideally in FMCG and/or Chemical sector
  • Advanced user of MS Office applications, SAP and APO-SNP know-how is required
  • English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Team management experience is preferred
