Henkel GCC is looking to hire our future Key Account Manager for KSA 'Modern Trade' in Q1/Q2 of 2019. This role will be based out of Jeddah in strong collaboration with our GCC team in Dubai.

What we offer

  • Strong relationship management, acts as the key interface between distributor sales team and Henkel
  • Develop and build key business relationships with leading Modern Trade customers and utilizing influencing skills to engender greater collaboration across respective teams
  • Develop distributor management capability across Modern Trade channel via designing best practice models, tools and training
  • Expand on distributor relationships to maximize impact through planning and execution on Modern Trade Channel
  • Work closely with Market Manager, Unit Manager and National sales manager to design promotions for key customers based on Budget allocated, shopper profiling, customer strategy and objectives
  • Collaborate with support function team (SC, Finance, IT etc...) to ensure ease of daily operation and execution of monthly plans
  • Conduct market visits on monthly basis across Modern Trade channel
  • Lead monthly reviews with key customers to evaluate performance and take actions
  • Own comprehensive activity calendar for his customers within his region, lead distributor team to implement this calendar, and should update this calendar on monthly basis
  • Follow up and track executions in trade with distributor team
  • Maintain updated database for KPIs like our presence, visibility, investment with his assigned customers
  • Optimizing his allocated budget across key customers via SMART spending
  • Lead and coach distributor sales team to drive IMS growth in Modern Trade channel
  • Lead merchandising team across Modern Trade channel through intensive market visits and training
  • Manage HBC stock position in distributor warehouse and ensure proper management of D&E
  • Ensure distributor services to key customers is at high end level for Henkel to be represented as should.

Who we are looking for

  • Masters Degree preferable
  • Strong track record of successful sales within Modern Trade in KSA
  • FMCG experience, preferably within the beauty industry
  • Comfortable working in complex organizational structures
  • Creativeness
  • Passion for the industry and drive for excellence
  • Ability to build on existing and new business relationships
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Passion to drive multi cultural teams
  • Arabic is a preference
